Here, Gepe adopts women's clothing and his leading lady partner sports a thick mustache and sideburns like a national hero, while sad and parallel stories unfold over four minutes in an early-morning bar. The camera doesn't stop recording various misfortunes, where the actors on stage show their everyday pains, plunging the observer into that effective feeling of misfortune that the sound recording itself wants to convey.
