These have been difficult days for the world. But then again, when isn't it? It's hard to believe those who tell us there were calmer times, times of greater peace and respect among human beings. Even so, let's take stock, look at the Colombian-Venezuelan border, and be astonished by the stupidity that's rampant there right now. That's why there's never too much of a person asking for calm and demanding peace, and it's even better if they do it by singing.

The Caracas band BigMandrake She took advantage of her presence at the "Viva El Planeta" festival in Bogotá, and toured the Colombian capital in search of locations to film the video for her song. #PazParaElPlaneta And now they've delivered the result. The clip, unsophisticated but made with a lot of heart, features artists from groups across the continent such as Filippi's Hands, Doctor Krápula, Che Sudaka, Rabanes, Prophets, Ox Eyes and The Severe Slaughter, Besides, there are impromptu passersby and the occasional unsuspecting person who will probably never know their image is already circulating around the world. This work doesn't break any audiovisual molds, not by a long shot, but it has a catchy tune whose message, however obvious it may sound, is good to hear from time to time. It will have to bring some good at any moment.
