The approach is simple: It's a combination of photographs and moving images which at times seem to be taken from the travel album of some character from the seventies, Almost with the intentionality of the Polaroids of that era. It's a disordered collection of snapshots and short videos of a journey where the protagonist is a woman who is almost always seen from behind, her face occasionally out of focus against the backdrop of the sea. No one knows what's happening because it has the leisurely pace of an ocean voyage with stops along the beach where little occurs. Even so, it's good material that aptly presents the Chilean artist's new single. DJ Raff, called By Vocé

Rafael Pérez (better known as DJ Raff) is preparing the release of Motion, his new album, a work where, according to the press release from his record label, The artist focuses on mixing tropical rhythms with electronic sounds, «"where percussion and analog sound take center stage." This preview, which, curiously, uses texts in Portuguese, has the cadence of a holiday sunset, a fitting preparation for the festive intensity of the hours to follow., almost with the flavor of a piña colada or a Bloody Mary. By Vocé It's an appetizer that elegantly presents the calm before the storm, like the soundtrack to glamour before the unbridled passion. The video helps convey that feeling, and that's why it's so enjoyable., amidst their feigned sloppiness, watching it repeatedly.

While we await the release of his new full album, DJ Raff gives us an interesting taste and warns us that his success is no flash in the pan, following the success of his previous album., Latino and proud. We will be keeping an eye on that launch.
