We continue exploring Chile through its music and contemporary architecture, as presented to us by the Insigne Sessions team. In their third episode, the creators of this web series invited the group Rocket Boy, from the city of Concepción, which is gaining popularity throughout the continent, through their performances during 2016 at major festivals such as Lollapalooza Chile, Primavera Fauna, LIMA in Peru, Hermoso Ruido in Colombia and SXSW in Austin.

The production was located in the Remote House, a transportable modular housing project, designed by the architect Felipe Assadi, winner in 1999 of the Young Promotion Award of the College of Architects of Chile, awarded to the best architect under 35 years of age in his country. Assadi is currently the dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design at Finis Terrae University and his work has been widely discussed in international media such as Wallpaper and Architectural Review in London, Arquitectura Viva and AV Monografías in Madrid, Architectural Record in NY, GA in Tokyo, Domus and Casabella in Italy, among others, in addition to specialized books from around the world.

The architectural details of the location indicate that Remote House It is an 80 m2 construction that was executed entirely in Santiago in 45 days. The work was then moved to Pichicui, in the Valparaíso region, It was installed in six hours. This structure is located on the edge of a gentle slope, 7 meters high, allowing for panoramic views of the horizon from its summit. and having the sea as the closest neighbor. In this incredible space, Niño Cohete recorded his songs for the Insigne Sessions Red Birds y Vultur.

The Distinguished Sessions have been a success, successfully presenting good Chilean music in an effective and original way of the moment, in outstanding spaces created by the most prominent Southern architects of the twenty-first century.
