The song is not necessarily 100 percent synced with its respective video. There's no need to create a grand story with complex plots and have renowned directors of commercials and videos. This time, although the audiovisual proposal is simple, it still bears the aesthetic and somewhat psychedelic imprint of Telebit. Much of the festive and colorful aspects of Twelve Winds This is reflected in the Colombian band's new music video for this single, chosen to be the fourth release from their second album of the same name, presented in June of this year.
The band and the production company Visual Fluxus (who has made videos for Esteman and Pedrina y Río), together with the entertainment platform Árbol Naranja, decided to create for the song, which contains hints of dancehall without changing its own sound, a subdued atmosphere that possibly implies that "walking without a destination"“ which Daniel Acosta (lead singer of the group) talks about in the song, but which he also captures with animations reminiscent of those made in the eighties and early nineties videos, with that spacey feeling and symbolism that evoke the shamanic traditions and visions reflected in much of their music.
There will surely be more of this trend in Telebit's music and videos, as they continue to promote this new material throughout Mexico, growing their number of followers., confirming that new Colombian musical and visual proposals are increasingly gaining relevance outside our territory.
