At a time when other Colombian artists are making waves with their fusion, capturing a good part of the existing interest in Caribbean fusion music produced in this country, we cannot forget proposals that, perhaps because they are more experimental or have a smaller advertising budget, are not devoid of providing enough flavor to attract the attention of party-loving palates around the world.
Okarina Sun, An artist already known on various stages around the world, is once again making waves and launching New blood, The video is an extraordinarily colorful clip that aptly illustrates her song, a blend of soca, calypso, and a touch of champeta, filled with butterflies, megaphones, and simple, infectious choreography. The elegant use of blurring enhances the rhythm and adds a touch of elegance to the editing. This is a great video that reopens doors and raises the bar for her work. Perhaps it's time for her to perform on bigger stages.
