Clowns, kings, and televisions with a limited lifespan and imminent destruction pass by. Clumsiness flies in the form of confetti, balls, handkerchiefs, and playing cards. High- and low-speed choreography, artists playing musical instruments with rockstar attitude for children's entertainment, and cross-dressing couples blessed by a priest of dubious reputation. In short, all the chaos in a single (almost) take to keep the viewer's attention, who holds their gaze, allowing themselves to be surprised, for three minutes and fifty-six seconds. That's it. Jester, the new video from the Colombian band Schutmaat trio.

The most valuable aspect of the clip is how, amidst the planned chaos unfolding before our eyes, we do not lose sight of the charm of a strange song, which contaminates the normality of the environment with its sonic ramblings and which irremediably envelops us from beginning to end.

Making a difference, that's what's important, avoiding resembling what's so prevalent these days in all media. That seems to be the guiding principle of this group, which may frighten traditional minds but is definitely right to distinguish itself from the rest of those around it.
