Voices from the south are making things difficult for the system. These are female voices that use their art to expose a torrent of injustices that have occurred since the beginning of time, injustices against women, the poor, the displaced, the LGBTQ+ community, against the ignored and despised. And, moreover, these voices know how to add flavor to their discourse., They know how to get even the lameest person dancing, and they still keep protesting., highlighting the differences.

Miss Bolivia (Paz Ferreira, from Argentina) uses cumbia and rap to spark a reaction against convention and confront those who ignore the pleas of the most vulnerable. She adopts street slang to expose all prejudices and, in the process, shakes even the most oblivious with her songs. With her latest video, Good warrior, a kind of "workers' musical" (I borrow the words of my friend Matías Mera) and insists on breaking the mold. The clip is fun, bold, and evokes aesthetic principles that more conservative people avoid.. A great song and a great video result.
