From Farallones, the oldest ski resort in Chile, Located in the heart of the Andes Mountains, we have the fourth episode of the web series that connects music, landscape, and architecture, Insigne Sessions. This time, the guest of honor is Nano Stern.

This artist, belonging to the most successful generation of contemporary musicians in Chile, He is an important figure in the new folk music scene of his country. His work, respectful of the cultural roots of the Southern Cone, adds jazz and rock to the region's traditional influences. and creates songs with strong emotional content and a contagious rhythm. The artist best explains his musical work when he says that “As I'm able to vibrate strongly, other people will feel that resonance; if it's intense, everything around them will vibrate together. In the end, that's what music is, leaving aside words, genres, and traditions—it's all about those vibrations in the air that make us move our bodies. It's one of the greatest mysteries.”On this occasion, Stern performs the songs with his group 1,500 laps y Chance.

The space where this session takes place is the La Leonera refuge, an architectural work of DRAA Architects, The firm, comprised of Nicolás del Río, Felipe Camus, and collaborators Malo Chabrol and Mathias J Götz, took on the challenge of expanding this family space, where the firm's mountain-inspired work can be appreciated. La Leonera is an attractive space made with wood, concrete, and glass., that faces the eternal snows of the landscape.
