Neoma – Hymn
A resident of the United States, this Ecuadorian woman feels nostalgic for her country and releases, within her most recent album titled Real, a beautiful cut with many acoustic elements and Andean sound perfumes that contrast with the electro pop that characterizes the rest of his production. With this song, the artist presents an animated video of simple schemes that impresses with the clarity of the discourse and the beauty of its elaboration. Under the motto "less is more," this clip evokes a sense of melancholy in the viewer and pays heartfelt homage to his homeland. A must-see during these days of confinement.
Lucybell + Beto Cuevas – Miracle
Twenty years after the release of his classic album Dawn breaks, The Chilean band led by Claudio Valenzuela decided to reinterpret one of their most outstanding songs in an orchestrated way, in the company of their compatriot Beto Cuevas. The clip shows the recording process as a whole, with all the musicians on board, with the aim of recording every detail of the historic moment. The result is grandiose and thrilling. The truth is, the effort behind this production is worthwhile, especially since it allows new generations to have a respectable introduction to one of the most important musical pieces from the beginning of the 20th century in Latin America. A job well done.
Mundaka – Early morning
Technically, the video isn't particularly surprising. It's a compilation of many shots filmed with lo-fi cameras on a variety of occasions, including trips to the beach, nights out, and live performances., But we cannot deny that the result is graceful and the editing manages to stick well to the song, complementing the good spark that the tune brings. Hoping to return to the times when we all went out into the street to hug our friends, it's nice to see this clip full of smiles and fun to the rhythm of music made for dancing, at least in private, in the intimacy of quarantine.
