Is recycling okay? Of course it is. Especially when you can create surprising products with leftover footage from a film shoot, or with the beautiful acoustic remix of a song that has almost seventeen million plays on Spotify in its original recording. This clip, we could say, is the second part of the initial filming, the result of which was published almost a year ago. Here, we begin to speculate: the post-recording party was filmed, and, taking advantage of the sunset and adding a suitable slow-motion effect to the movements of the guest actors during editing, a very beautiful audiovisual piece is presented, in keeping with the tempo of the new interpretation. Fans of this band from the city of La Plata are sure to appreciate this unexpected gift, which will surely make them nostalgic during these times of confinement and a lack of good concerts.

The Fox ZapataThe Worst Things

Forget for a moment (as if you could) that we're in quarantine and that for several days you've been staring at the ceiling of your house trying to find a moment's peace. Forget what you're probably thinking right now, when you suspect that sadness only made sense these days and that you never knew such a feeling before. Watch this clip and recognize that heartbreak can have the most beautiful of faces.  The Peruvian artist brings us this time a simple yet powerful tune, enveloped in evocative imagery, where exquisite visual simplicity matches the uncomplicated sound composition being promoted. La Zorra Zapata has much to tell us, and she's telling us in small, resonant doses that stir emotions with each listen. She's definitely one to watch for in the future of contemporary Latin American music.

Dr. Didi Tsunami

She herself exclaims: Hers is rock for difficult times. And it's good to hear Dr. Diana Matos (yes, she's a licensed and practicing doctor) making feel-good punk, ready to be danced to until you drop. This Lima-born artist is premiering this video made with archival footage shot by the sea, mixed with some local shots of the Pacific Ocean taken just a few days ago. The result? A delightful vacation-themed collage. Who said punk can't help us evoke that summer joy, recapture the feeling of sand between our toes and the sun tanning our faces? The doctor knows this could be one way to rekindle that festive spirit in our hearts during these dark times. Surely, once we emerge from this chaos, we'll go out and celebrate, blasting refreshing tunes like this one on our stereos.
