It's been quite a while since Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone She came into this world in the undoubtedly boring town of Bay City, Michigan. Luckily, though, she sought her fortune a few years later in New York, and those most familiar with her probably already know what happened next. We're not sure how well she's known to younger generations.,  But at least those who were born before 1990 know that Madonna didn't just have a lot of hits, with total sales exceeding three hundred million physical copies of their albums worldwide, Instead, amidst controversies, scandals, insightful speeches, and countless wardrobe changes that enhanced her image, she became an icon., perhaps the most famous woman on the planet for many decades. A clear symbol of 20th-century female empowerment, which still retains its grace and avant-garde intention in each of its artistic expressions.

In this series of Latin tribute collections to renowned and legendary artists that we do from time to time, we have brought Madonna to start the year. And we want to pay tribute to her with thirteen uniquely crafted covers of her songs. We've found many interpretations of her songs from around here, but we've focused on what we consider the most interesting and striking versions. We've avoided some embarrassing moments where some shameless individuals, with their off-key voices and a perverse Spanish adaptation of the lyrics, have ruined any attempt to imitate the great diva. The following playlist includes these songs., We were fascinated by the folk-style interpretation by Brazilian musician Renato Russo of Cherish, song whose original recording was released more than three decades ago on the album Like a Prayer. We also put a peculiar acoustic version of Express yourself, made in Spanish, and registered by Suriname and Denise Murz, From Argentina. Another moment we recommend is the now classic performance by the Peruvian singer. Wendy Sulca of Like a Virgin. In short, we bring you a great collection of tunes, made in Mexico, Argentina, the United States, Brazil and Peru, in the styles of rock, pop, jazz and fusion, reminiscent of the real Material Girl., one of the few people who truly shaped the music market and global social behavior over the past five decades.
